Verizon needed help overhauling their consumer email correspondence. The emails had not been updated in years – the language was dull and layout was messy. The subject matter of the emails was often unclear so headlines were added that built excitement and helped click-through. Also a series of easily recognizable icons were added to the top of each mail for consumers to see their
A proficiency bar was added at the top of all order-type emails so customers would know where they were in the order process. Language was clear and bold. Branding was strong. And very specific areas were carved out for upsell and new promotions.
Over 90 separate emails were revamped.
